Christofle silver mark, in a Lozenge, is evident, as is the name "Christofle" in an oblong punch.
Made in France. Circa 1880

"The manche gigot" is a utensil which was slipped over the leg of lamb joint bone. The 'key' at the side would be tightened so that the joint of meat could be firmly held while carving

Condition is Antique Very Good.. There is some light wear (see light indent) to the silver bowl from use and a few very old, tiny chips to the ring moulding on the handle.. as can be seen in the pictures. It will polish-up beautifully with a light clean..!!
