Evocative pair of handmade linen spats which I was told are pre WWI era but I haven't been able to confirm this. These are not mass produced in a factory which makes these quite special.
The quality of the linen and the construction suggests the age is accurate.
These are in good overall condition, no holes and the fabric and buttons are very strong. There are a few marks on the linen which I've tried to show in the photographs.
Each boot cover measures approximately 11½” tall, 10” wide at narrow end, and 15½” wide at widest end when open.
